Yasuragi Hasseludden

Venue

Yasuragi Hasseludden is a tranquil oasis where you and your colleagues can meet whilst finding the perfect balance between work and leisure. At Yasuragi, every meeting is an opportunity. Only 20 min. from Stockholm City.

Conference rooms

The tranquil at Yasuragi Hasseludden makes the site seem smaller than its 20,000 m2. We have 30 different meeting rooms, the smallest of which is suitable for three to eight people and the largest for 400. The rooms are tastefully decorated in a Japanese style with all the necessary technical equipment for a successful meeting.

Recreation

Yasuragi offers japanese bath with hot springs inhouse and outside, Qi gong, zenmeditation, Do In and a range of treatments for face and body. At Yasuragi you can allow yourself blissful self-indulgence; to shed the cares of the world while you pamper your body, as well as your mind, with our invigorating treatments. In Japanese, Yasuragi means "inner peace and harmony" which is exactly what we want you to have when you stay with us. We call our baths "Kyarabi" which means "gracious beauty". Staying with us is easy: we'll provide you with your own slippers, a swimsuit, and a comfortable cotton kimono (a "Yukata") to use for your stay here. Towels, shampoo, conditioner, soap and body lotion are all provided. Hot spring bathing forst became popular in Japan more than 1,000 years ago and the Japanese have made an art out of bathing. This is a tradition we have adopted at Yasuragi. Before getting changed, a bath hostess will tell you all about Japanese baths. It's a cleansing ritual, with the first part for the body, the second for the soul. Start in the bathing room with its subdued lighting. Along the walls are wooden buckets and stools. This is where you wash, using small, slow movements. Then, filling the bucket with water, you hold it over your head and pour it over yourself. Repeat this a number of times. Having cleansed the body, it is now time for the soul. Sink down into the hot springs, or start with a swim in the large pool. When you feel ready, go and enjoy the outdoor hotsprings, let the warm vapour envelop you and soothe your spirit the way the hot water soothes your body. While you view the beautiful sea between the pine trees you can relax and find peace.

Accomodation

All our rooms are facing the archipelago of Stockholm. Choose from Japanese-style or traditional hotel rooms. We offer beautifully appointed Japanese-style suites and other unique rooms to make your stay truly special. Decorated with Tatami carpets, our Japanese-inspired rooms are beautifully simple. Choose between a futon or an ordinary bed. All rooms have TV and en suite bathroom with shower. Groups can stay in a Mezame, a Japanese bedroom with Tatami carpets, futons, and a Japanese bathtub.

Other

An expression from the Japanese tea ceremony goes, “Ichigo, ichie” or “one time, one meeting”. At Yasuragi Hasseludden, we feel this to be an excellent starting point for all meetings. When people find harmony and relaxation, they are inspired and gain new insights. In our largest and newly designed meeting room Fuji, we offer an international meeting room inspired by Japanese traditions, and offering many opportunities for inspiring dialogue and meetings. A series of elegant white silk curtains act as a room divider, and for added informality, cushions and sofas replace traditional conference furniture. Both premises and furniture were created by world famous Spanish designer, Patricia Urquiola. At Yasuragi Hasseludden, the emphasis is on food, with two separate restaurants serving Japanese and modern Swedish food. At the Teppanyaki, each table has its own chef in the centre of the table preparing food on a traditional stone slate. A meal here makes for a memorable experience. Our restaurant Tokyo, offers a modern and exciting blend of Japanese and Swedish cuisine.
